Welcome To Hotpec Orphanage
HOTPEC orphanage is a non-governmental, nonprofit making, and non-political private social welfare organization founded , by TANNE ZADOCK MUGRI and wife MRS BEATRICE MBAYE NJANG MUGRI with 5 children who were neglected and despised in our society of their right to education, shelter, love and protection. They were been abused by the community of their rights and used as commercial agents for income generating as hawkers; the center today accommodates over 215 orphans and vulnerable children with the youngest of the children being trafficked twin babies of 7months old from Nigeria officially brought into the orphanage by the ministry of social affairs through the regional delegation of social affairs south west region, Cameroon.
HOTPEC has as Mission to recover the future and restore the hope of orphans, less privilege, unaccompanied minors, and abandoned children from a day old to 18 years of age in the area of education, nutrition, phyco-social support , shelter and accommodation and to raise them to a level they can fully exercise their potentials and have equal Rights and Opportunities in the society. Over the years HOTPEC orphanage has transformed over 5,000 persons since its creation. It started with a single room and has over the years grown with several buildings donated by other organizations and some individuals of good will. It is located at mile 15 Lower-Bokova Buea South West region of Cameroon
Within the years of existence HOTPEC has impacted several lives and fully engaged in humanitarian activities in the North West and South West Regions of Cameroon. HOTPEC in collaboration with care-givers in the south west region Cameroon, has support other orphanages, and have been able to provide food stuff, clothing, shelter, education, and healthcare to the orphans, vulnerable children, widows, single mothers and carried out sustainable community development project. HOTPEC currently runs it activities under 4 main programs; Education, Agriculture, Orphanage Home, Economic and Empowerment/livelihood.
